The Board of Directors of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EAEU) (ie, the Customs Union (CU)), on 15 November 2016, introduced Resolution 154, which amended its resolution 293 of 25 December 2012. Resolution 154 has entered into force since 22 December 2016.

 
Resolution 154 mainly deals with the following two amendments:
       From December 22, 2016, it is mandatory to specify not only the CU's technical regulations, but also the applicable standards, in the CU's Certificate of Conformity (CoC) and Declaration of Conformity (DoC).
 
       CU's Certificate of Conformity (CoC) and Declaration of Conformity (DoC) must be registered in any EAEU Member State. In other words, manufacturers other than EAEU will not be allowed to license as an applicant.
