China

      The China National Standardization Administration (SAC) issued Announcement No. 7 of 2017 on March 23, 2017.

       According to the mandatory standard integration to streamline the working conclusion, 1077 mandatory national standards will be adjusted to the recommended national standards, the standard code from GB to GB / T, standard serial number and chronology will not change.
       2 years from the date of the announcement for the transition period, the product nameplate logo, the standard record (self-declared) and other use of the original standard number, enterprises can gradually modify and adjust.

       Which is related to China Compulsory Product Certification (CCC) audio and video equipment, information technology equipment and telecommunications terminal equipment, such as the standard update is as follows:

     According to SAC Notice No. 7, April 12, 2017 National Certification and Accreditation Regulatory Commission (CNCA) to the mandatory product certification designation of certification bodies on the adjustment of some mandatory product certification based on the standard notice (National Certification [2017] No. 46 ) Requirements:
      As of now, all relevant mandatory product certification implementation rules (CCC), the corresponding standards should be modified accordingly, the mandatory product certification designation certification bodies in accordance with the revised standards issued by the mandatory product certification.
      For a mandatory product certification that has been issued, it can be updated to a revised standard when the certificate expires or changes.
      Customers need to complete the product nameplate marking and other information updates within the 2-year transition period (March 22, 2019) and use the new standard for new application or change.

Taiwan

      BSMI at the end of 2015 began to publish and implement the product application BSMI when the need for RoHS testing requirements.

The implementation date for each product category is different.
The announcement includes:
(A.) Upgrade applicable standards and / or
(B.) Scope change.
       BSMI accepts an old (non-RoHS) or new (RoHS) application during the transition period (between the date of publication and the date of enforcement), but the certificate of the old version (no RoHS) will automatically expire after the date of enforcement.
       After the mandatory date, the nameplate is forcibly marked with RoHS.
       Applicants should comply with CNS 15663 Section 5 "Containing Marking" requirements and clearly indicate "Restricted Substances" on the body, packaging, nameplate or instructions.

Brazil

       Brazilian wireless and communications products authority ANATEL import new system to automatically control the expiration certificate (CoC).
       This new system is based on Resolution 242, released in 2000.
       Brazil under the ANATEL, set up a number of OCD (Designated Certification Organization), ANATEL can review different products on the report and documents, and issue products CoC. After obtaining the CoC, the product can be sent to ANATEL to obtain the final Homologation.
       In the past CoC's validity period is managed by OCD, and CoC can be renewed and extended after expiration.
The main changes following the introduction of the new system are as follows:
CoC has expired for more than 180 days and will be automatically revoked by the system.
If the CoC is revoked in the system, it will not be able to make the expiration date.
       In order to maintain ANATEL Homologation, the applicant must pay attention to the CoC expiry date and prepare for it in advance.

Botswana

BOCRA announces the new product type certification program, the main contents include:
Applicable products include wireless communication equipment, broadcast transmitting equipment, digital broadcasting equipment and satellite receiving equipment specifications.
The validity of the certificate is changed from the previous one year to the date on which the product category is defined.
If the product has a display screen, the electronic nameplate will be accepted.
The supplier must have a license.
Product nameplate material must be durable, and its text height shall not be less than 2mm.

Note: "nnnnnn" is the certificate number granted by the Administration.

Argentina

      Argentina issued a new resolution (Res. 207/2017), effective immediately after release.
      The new resolution (Res.207 / 2017) modifies and replaces some of the provisions of the current resolution (Res. 171/2016).
The main changes are as follows:
      The mandatory range of the product falls between 50 Vac and 1000 Vac, and 75 Vdc to 1500 Vdc.
      External power supplies, external chargers, monitors and All-in-one computers are excluded from the mandatory product list (Annex II), you can choose to apply for MARK or TYPE certification.
      May be replaced by local agents or attached with an IRAM certification mark, and the local agent must affix the information of the local agent on the nameplate of the terminal product.
      After the manufacturer or importer has made a product discontinued or stopped importing requirements, DNCI will issue a notice to stop drawing the relevant product.
      Customs clearance no longer need a comprehensive inspection, to random sampling.
      Import of non-trafficked products on the market or industrial and professional products imported by importers or manufacturers into the list of exempted products (Annex III).
      The products listed in the Compulsory Product List (Annex II) are subject to the extension of the application period until July 1, 2018.
      The new resolution section is still under discussion and may be revised in the future.

India

       The Indian Ministry of Electronic Information (Meity) will convene the relevant departments to consider the implementation of the third phase of the BIS compulsory registration of product categories.
