DesignLights Consortium® (DLC) released the following two important updates on April 21, 2017. Please note that the majority of export LED lighting manufacturers in the United States are concerned, as follows:
 
Update one
       Since May 5, 2017, DLC requires that all product categories be submitted with the latest version of the "Self-Certification Statement". The biggest difference from the old version of the "Self-Certification Statement" is to increase the signature date of the "Self-Certification Statement" and the date of signature must be valid for the first 2 weeks of the date of submission, so special attention is required :
 
1, from May 5, 2017, if you continue to use the old version of the "Self-Certification Statement" to submit, DLC will return this application;
 
2, please see the latest version of the "Self-Certification Statement" format, red part of the circle must fill in the date, and if the "Self-Certification Statement" signature date beyond the delivery date of the first 2 weeks, DLC will also return this submission Application.

Update two
      Since May 5, 2017, DLC for the successful listing of the product, to accept the product model changes, and this change is free, DLC will not charge any fees, apply to modify the model name must provide the following information:
 
Single and Family Grouping Products The following information is required to update the model number:
1, Applicant Signed Statement
      Applicant Signing Statement, Applicant must declare that there is no other change than the model change, and describe the reason for the change of the product model, and the list of old and new models must be listed in the statement letter.
 
2, Nomenclature Update Form
      Need to provide the latest product naming table.
 
3, Updated spec sheet (s) that show the nomenclature change
      Need to provide updated models named after the product specifications.
 
Private Label Products update models require the following information:
 
1, Applicant Signed Statement
      Applicant Signing Statement, Applicant must declare that there is no other change than the model change, and describe the reason for the change of the product model, and the list of old and new models must be listed in the statement letter.
2, Nomenclature Update Form
      Need to provide the latest product naming table.
3, Updated spec sheet (s) that show the nomenclature change
      Need to provide updated models named after the product specifications.
4, Updated Private Label Agreement form that reflect the nomenclature change

      Need to provide updated models named after the multiple column name agreement.
